Message :a JUN mechanic was flown in from Japan and he was tuning the car on UPRD's dyno and it blew. JUN had the entire car brought back up to the previous specs and supposedly it now has 15,000 miles on the motor currently in it. The poor car would've been mint if it hadn't lived 2 miles from the beach in some crap open-air parking complex, but such is life I guess.

JUN only has a couple of guys that can tune. Mr. Koriyama(spelling?) is one of them, he's also the driver of the Bonneville Z that still holds the record on the salts. Anyway, it surprises me that such an experienced tuner can blow up a customer's car, LOL. I'll believe that it happened I guess. For the right price I probably would buy the car and put it together with some huge turbos since it already has a nice motor. Did he say what it has for engine management?
